EVENT DESCRIPTION:
This was the annual Diwali party held by the above organisations. Even though this event is to celebrate an Indian festival of Diwali it also is marketed to the community at large and other South Asian communities. Every year the event attracts a very diverse range of people who attend the event form all backgrounds and faiths. The whole event is one of the most community cohesive events in the events calendar on Tyneside.
